Microsoft Club Live Games Solved. Flexicon, Clink, CrossWire, and Dingbats solutions search
This is a follow-up post to my last post Microsoft is desperate. After writing up a quick Anagram solver for Chicktionary, I’ve fixed up the script to handle some other games as well. Now the new GreaseMonkey script can help with Flexicon, Clink, CrossWire and Dingbats. To get the most out of them (for Club Live), you should
follow these instructions.
The Easy Way
If you are not using FireFox, or you are not running the GreaseMonkey plug-in, you can direct navigate to http://www.anagramssolved.com . The tools are all present there in the same form and function. However, you will have to switch between multiple windows if you’re trying to gather points quickly.
The Best Way
For those of you using IE, you should probably install Firefox.
. Once you install that, get GreaseMonkey, then the new script for Microsoft Club Live Helper. The script works by replacing the Live Search with http://www.anagramssolved.com/. The site makes available an Anagram Solver, and searchable solutions for Clink, CrossWire, Dingbats, and Flexicon. For the searchable solutions, you can also use the available Google Search box to search for individual clues if you’d rather solve the puzzles yourself.

Why don’t you write a Windows Script file that can auto-lookup and enter answers into the puzzle. Then I can just start the process, and come back about 10 hours later to see I have 291,330 points available. LOL!

Yeah, Huey, I would love to know your “100 tickets/3 minutes” secret. And, has anyone else found ways to maximize points?
Kind of a lot of work, but, For Seekado, in combination with annagramssovded.com, I use:
1. ABBYY Screenshot Reader, to save the puzzle text
2. Any word processor, to get rid of the spaces between letters, and save as a plain text file.
3. Word Search Puzzle Solver 2.0: (h**p://w*w.newfreedownloads.com/download-Word-Search-Puzzle-Solver.html) to open the saved plain text files, solve the puzzle, and show you exactly where all the words are.

The Chicken puzzles appear to be gone! I was waiting until today to work on the new ones ( I have 1000 Chicken puzzle tickets) and now it is telling me I have done them all… I know this isn’t true, as there are many people with 7000 points.

One suggestion: It would be helpful to make all outputs as simple as possible (such as the Seekadoo answers are now) such that they may be parsed easily. But it can still be done now as it is.

I’d like to see if they actually would send the prizes, so far I bought a ringtone and it required my address and they wouldn’t SHIP it out until 8/29/07. How the hell are they going to do that why can’t they just email me the url geez.

I wrote a script for chicktionary. It solves a puzzle in a little under 15 seconds. There is a limit of 1000 points a day for that particular game though.

I have the same problem as Exasperated…I’ve hit the wall near 1,000 points playing Chicktionary. It seems that they’ve added more puzzles, but I’m still being told that I’ve played all available puzzles.
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

I am in the same boat. I see 7000 points available for chictionary and I was even willing to do it manually, but after the first day I played (weeks ago) I was stopped at 1000 and now it won’t give me any more. Has anyone been able to manually get past 1000 points in chictionary ever? I keep getting the “you have solved all puzzles, check back soon” screen. I think you can only get 7000 with a bot or macro or something (which might be a warning to anyone with the hack=vista=money=world domination theory in their heads.)

Can anyone confirm whether there are 7000 points worth of Chictionary available or not, I am stuck at 1000 and I see people with 7000? It won’t give me any new puzzles.

Good stuff, I was doing all this the hard way and it was taking way too long. I find that chicktionary was my best ticket maker before, but now with the “cheat sheet” flexicon is better and faster. However… I noticed tonight unlike last night they have put in some sort of spam protection. If you submit too many answers too fast, you get a pop up window and have to put in a code to continue. This really slows me down and sucks. Also Vista Ultimate is gone again… wich is what I wanted. Shame too I was only 1000 tickets short of getting it last night while it was there.

firefox seems to have been blocked by microsoft. the macro will complete but you will get 0 points everytime. this happened sometime last night. guess microsoft is starting to catch on and instead of worrying as much about scamming the system for search use, they want to make it seem like more people are using ie. thats why i dont feel bad about what i’m doing.

Whenever I try to play Crosswire on IE it says communication error. Although Clink works in IE and Crosswire still operates on Firefox.

thats fine jaymes but im talkin to those who are just lazy and want a program to type it all for them. stop bein lazy. u want to cheat at the answers fine, dont get all lazy and want the puzzle solved in 10 seconds automaticly. you know why their startin to catch you? cuz your solving the problems too fast. noones smart enuff to solve 4 seperate puzzles in under 45 seconds. it takes longer then that just to type the words in. stop tryin to auto cheat and actually so some work at gettin the prizes…. i mean come on….

Yeah, that sucks. I’m edgeing for a 360, even though it’ll take around 48 hours to get there using the answers provided.
The scripts, although would have been easy, were in my opinion wrong… but then to try to cash stuff in and then lose it all, that’s pretty stupid and ghey. I only play like maybe 2 hours a day and nearly have 1000 points… i’ll probably just settle for vista, but who knows if people really actually get their prizes…?
M$ really sucks for this, for so many problems just for being smart and being ’suspected of cheating’. The probably say that because they don’t have the goods to supply for free… lol who knows.

If you’re getting “communication error”, make sure you’re using Adobe Flash version 9. Once I uninstalled version 8 and installed version 9, the problem went away.

You people can write all the scripts you want. I’ve been playing fairly and you still run out of games to play to earn tickets at around 32000, so it’s not even possible to get the Xbox anyway. I finished Flexicon fairly….am now moving to chictionary….if you look at the leaderboards you can tell that you can’t earn enough to get the 360. The only only possible way would be to play fairly and get the full amount of points for each game every time…never using a hint or anything. Just not possible people, sorry.

installing the Live Search club Toolbar for Internet Explorer 6 or above will make it possible to obtain higher amounts of tickets. With the toolbar your default Search provider will be changed to Live Search and with each search you will earn one (1) tickets. You can only earn 10 tickets per day using this method

Alright so I’ve been having the same problems as alot of ppl, i’m maxing out all the games available, and there hasn’t been any “updates” on the games. I tried to contact microsoft like a zillion times. I emailed every sector of the microsoft crew at least twice (not just from Live Search Club) but even from other microsoft products. None of them could tell me how to get in touch with the “support team” from the club. I want to know if it really is impossible to get the XBOX 360 cause im a litle less than 15,000 tickets away and I don’t think they’ll ever update enough for me to get that. Does anyone here know how to contact an actual PERSON from the support team so I can get answers? or does anyone have the answers?

I cant get to the live games page anymore……It says action cancelled. I had (have?) over 8500 points and was really trying for the ZUNE. I cant access it now for over two weeks. Have they taken it away from me? I haven’t used anything but myself to solve the puzzels so it cant be that they think i am cheating. I have been playing since June 07 and now nothing. Anyone else out there have this problem and is there anyway to get back to being able to access the games?

one more thing. im already using a manual kind of script which auto writes words at chicktionary at a slow rate, 1 word/sec. after every 3 games, it asks for a veryfication code.

Hey man, very nice job on the Chicktionary Beta script. Just one small inquiry, It seems that when you boot up the script you have to keep clicking in the text box so that the auto-type can write in the answers. Is there any way to make it so that you don’t have to click in the box? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, and again, nice job.

The Chicktionary auto-type doesn’t work for me anymore. I see the script open up in the DOS prompt, but only for a second. Then it closes without typing any of the answers. It used to work BEAUTIFULLY for me. Has something changed in the past day or so?

Just wanted to let everyone know - I played the right way - without using any kind of “enhancement” and earned the 20,000 points needed to get a Zune. That was the last week of October. The estimated ship date was 12/21/07 - we received the Zune the weekend after Thanksgiving. Now if we could just get the ear buds we ordered the first week of October. They never arrived. But I have neighbors who would have no qualms taking receip of it and then not bringing it to me.

Is it possible for Microsoft to ban my IP? I keep getting this message when trying to log onto the page: Object moved here; I had no success w/ IE either. This happened to me on and off and I am not sure why they would ban me since I barely make 1000 points/day. I tried to go on the website from a different pc and it worked fine.

I don’t see how you can discuss how to cheat at the games and then complain when things go wrong for you. You cheat and then you are found out, you lose your “hard earned points”, your prizes aren’t sent, your account is deleted for cheating, then you think it isn’t “fair”. Ok, so I downloaded GreaseMonkey and I have downloaded the script, but I’ve never used stuff like this before, can someone please tell me how to get the script working with GreaseMonkey, please email the response at *** as I don’t know if I will be able to navigate back to this site or even remember to do so, I can be a little forgetful sometimes, lol.

Actually I did a little research through google search and found the solution. My mistake was that I downloaded the script before downloading GreaseMonkey, big mistake. lol. Now I know!

To the people complaining about cheating…This is not cheating. The old bots like Live Macro (and especially Nuke) were definitely cheating. Microsoft got nothing out of those players. (Admittedly, including myself.) But people using this site, and even autotyper are still giving Microsoft lots of hits to their search page. Maybe not QUITE as many hits since there will be fewer wrong answers typed in.they are doing it for the publicity, and they are getting it. Like all marketing ideas, Microsoft is spending money now in the hopes that some people will stick around and use Live Search instead of Google. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t. But it is not cheating.
It’ll be interesting to see if things change when the Yahoo deal eventually comes back into play, which it almost certainly will. Wil Microsoft continue this, or will they focus on increasing their combined market share other ways. We’ll see.
